New Year Word of the Year Ideas
New Year's resolutions can be a great way to start the year.
You have so much ambition with a fresh start and clean slate.
But, then you fall behind on your resolution and just plain give up.
What if there was a better way?
Focusing on a word of the year can be a great motivator to keep you on track.
You can set small goals that pertain to your word of the year.
For example, my word of the year will be confidence.
Since I have a focus word, I can build my goals around my word.
My goals will be to reach out to schools, teachers, and homeschoolers with confidence in my books, printables, and services.
Speaking of printables, I created a fun New Year printable* to help you and your kids with your goals and word of the year.
Included is a fun hat with some sample goals that can be cut out and pasted onto the hat, or you can write your own goals.
Also included is a word of the year worksheet. Pick one main word from the included word list or write in your own word or words on the paper.
